Foreign policy making in today’s interconnected world not only strives towards larger precision but also faces increased temporal acceleration. Despite an overflow of information, decision and policy-makers in the field of foreign affairs often bemoan a lack of real-time, highly reliable and qualified information and advice. In ever more complex policy contexts, immediate access to such resources becomes vital political capital.
ACTOPIA will face up to the demand of fast, reliable but thorough information through a unique combination of four elements. It builds on a very international, interactive think thank with a highly qualified, progressive, diverse and interdisciplinary member structure. It aims at a non-hierarchical interactive set-up, which invites members to group their expertise around defined themes and positions. It will be based on the unique methodology of supervised and coordinated RRS. Its goal is to create a platform for members to find individuals with similar goals and objectives, which can be advanced under the umbrella of ACTOPIA.
